This section of the synagogue's interior is to the right of the 'Aron ha Kodesh' (Holy Ark), when one is facing the Ark, which is on the eastern wall, or 'Mizrah'.
The railing for one of the four sets of stairs (one set for each side) leading to the 'bimah' is visible in the left foreground. Also visible are a 'parokhet' (curtain for a Holy Ark) and display cases containing several items, including Torah crowns and pointers, and 'tefillin' (phylacteries).
